the stories about: visiting mall

this is what typical malaysian would do when they do not have anything to do.. visiting mall, enjoyed the free air conditioner..

well, you all heard.. 3 new addition of HUGE mall just recently unveil their curtains to visitors and your truly happens to a hundreds of people who have seen the new malls.

honestly, nothing to say la. i mean as malaysian, we have seen how this mall grew bigger and bigger, and expanding side ways, both ways, expanding vertically etc. but i do salute those big shots that dreaming about building this mega malls to fill up the empty lands of klang valley. i mean we could do more with this space to counter poverty.. gosh, what am i saying? yada yada yada..

and they are...

mall no 1
the garden @ mid valley
nothing much to say.. it was the first mall that open its door this year. it has good location (we are talking about mid valley). the shops are 'expensive' one, you won't be see any local stuff around here (that is my perceptions so far). however, it failed to live up to the expectation of being 'the garden' except with real plants! its new and everybody flocking at that area. the department store 'robinson' did not impressed me at all but then again, some of their clothes is nice. did not step into isetan as they all the same. overall, 3.5 stars of 5!

mall no 2
the pavilion kuala lumpur
ohmygaystars! this mall is huge! the moment you step into the mall, you can stop noticing how big it was that you forgotten about suria klcc. we talking about two floor shops, exciting area to walk around, lotsa of corners to explore and they have huge parkson (to which i do not agree why parkson awarded the anchor tenant for pavilion), however, it is exciting. my feet is tired after walking a few round the floor and i have to finish a few more floors. the great things about pavilion is that, tangs is back! yay! love their shoes. i still have the pair that i bought from tangs @ starhill (those of the days). shops are mid to expensive international brand. some of the shops that you can find at other mall, given a good make over to suit the concept of the pavilion. overall, 4 stars of 5.

mall no 3
sunway carnival mall
oh well, this mall expanding to meet the demands from surround neighbourhood. its about time for them to do it. the mall is new and yes, i have the same experience as old one.. confusion! i get confused about the mash of the concepts. egypt-middle eastern-malaysian? i don't know, but i love the concept of their directory, very edgy techy kinda style (too bad i didn't snap pic for share, guess need to go there to see it for yourself). other than that, the mall divided into orange area and blue area (don't asked me why they label in such a way). not many shops open already but jusco finally arrived at sunway shores. however, i personally didn't like this jusco. it had a bad planning of built area. it cramped in a way. anyway, popular's book store is big and i saw roof leaking at one part of the store.. hmmmm! however, looking around the mall, a lot of new exciting shops open soon. overall, 3.5 stars of 5.
