am addicted to the sound of duffy. i heard the song 'mercy' over the radio and quickly looking for it over the virtual world. thanks to the technology, i have the album in my ipod right now. 'mercy' is taken from her 'rockferry' album.

she dubbed by critics as the next 'amy winehouse'. it was said over her 'mercy' song as there are similarity of the tunes, beats and styles of amy winehouse, however i beg to differ. duffy has unique distinctive style of her voice. her music is urban-60's mix altogether and create a pleasant feeling while listening to it, even when you are about to sleep.

one year ago...

the studio unit that adrian and myself staying right now used to be an empty unit. we moved in with what we have in our small room in bandar utama. we are excited on how to decorate our new place. we browse some catalogs, magazines etc to check out how to put up stuff around the studio.

we completed moved in to this studio on eve of chinese new year in 2007. i remembered it well, after unpacked, assemble, arranging stuff he went back to his parent's house for reunion dinner.

anyhow, over the course of one year, the studio itself gotten a few make over from time to time. some additional stuff and furniture are put in and the old one are given away to close friend who needed it.

went to korean bbq restaurant today for dinner. the restaurant located at kota damansara (above the mamak). the restaurant name 'daorae'. this restaurant pretty known in the hood for serving the korean food.

arrive at the restaurant, greeted by over-friendly staff (no harm tho, me likey). they all shouting 'Hwangyong-hamnida' (welcome). my eyes dancing around to find a nice spot to sit.

personally, i didn't like it at the beginning, however, the more am listening to it.. am addicted to the sound.

CHARMS-ingly delicious

this is my very first food blog posting and i must say am very nervous.. heheh.. i don't know why...

anyhow, earlier on i had dinner at charm @ one utama. every time before/after i entered FOS, i passed by this restaurant and always said to myself, i tried food at this place another time. time come and go.. however today.. i had that chance!

it is truly a gem in the middle of one utama sky bridge. it has been there for a long time and i had not give myself a chance to try it...
