finally...

after days/nights of packing, shifting and unpacking, finally it paid off. am now officially living in totally new neighbourhood. it was a sad to leave BU as i've been living at that area fr almost 5 years now. however, my new neighbourhood has an advantage. major developement is going on right now and the neighbourhood will be come one of the most noteable area.

done with unpacking and stuff on saturday evening and immediately clean up. i only left kitchen shelf to be put up. i managed to fixed the lighting today and it all come together now.

there's been no posting for the past few days. this is beacuse i was shifting house. shifting from room to a studio apartment. hell a lot of stuff to shift. signed the tenancy agreement (finally) on wednesday, gotten my access card and also parking sticker as well.

moving to a larger place is taxing however, am willing to spend money as this place i called my own. i do it according to what adrian and i vision of. it was a home for both of us. buying some items and stuff from ikea for the past few days. moving the larger items on friday and slowly & completely moved all my stuff from old house on friday night.

unpacked all items from boxes and managed to done with everything on saturday evening. adrian went back to cny reunion dinner. we still got some other things to complete i.e. lights, chairs, and kitchen shelf. this going to be continue on wednesday.

i do not have internet connections yet. will applied for broadband after the holidays and apparently will be up one week after application process. so, to all readers, i'll try to upload all the latest and current news on music from time to time.

try to upload the picture of my place, seems connection is bad. am currently at starbucks @ the curve.

where is my candy?

finally, the day when every lover in this world celebrating their love is here. the day where cupid work hard to struck someone's heart. the day where expensive dinner took over. the day when candy become sweeter, flowers freshly bloom and yes, expensive gift become more expensive!

valentine is back! celebration that burn hole in each and everyone of our wallets. i don't really care now days whether am celebrating valentine or not, however, am pretty sure that am celebrating valentine by cherishing friends and loved one around every single day. 'on this special is different' said a friend, 'it's valentine', he added. agree, but everyday can be valentine as well. does he mean that he appreciate/celebrate love only once a year? hmmm.. no wonder 'bush' on fire, go figure! make love, not war..

nonetheless, people simply loved celebrating commercial event! i remember my house mate every year never failed to get a bouquet of flower after an expensive dinner. her face glowing with satisfaction when she got what ever gift showered by her boyfriend. not that am hypocrite/bias/whining pain in the ass sad boy who doesn't get his valentine every year, am just sharing my thought on what too commercially marketed event. boyfriend/girlfriend pressured to buy gift for their loved one. tips: make your own gift, it more thoughful.

am i celebrating valentine this year? all of you need to wait for my future posting whether i am or not. but am sure, i'll be getting a bar of chocolate for myself on valentine's day to remind me that love is sweet like chocolate and it always come with flavour and taste and yes life is full box of chocolate. you never know what flavour you will get.

the sun, the sand and the water

weekend was excellent. had a retreat to port dickson with ATCENians group! i got nothing else to say except that i had so much fun. my first banana boat ride was a blast. the sun came out happily, the sand is hot nonetheless it was memorable. again, as i said, i got nothing else to say.. the picture paint a thousand stories!

that's how i spent my weekend. urs? am listening to: rehab - amy winehouse

weekend trilogy: the bukit bintang, the night out and the iberia

part of the week that i do look forward to is weekend. it's the day when i do my laundry (although am lazy doing it, but the fresh smell of cloth out of washing machine is damn nice), catching up with some rest, walked around mall and of cos, blogging.

sat - woke up in the afternoon and saw a missed called on my phone. gsc called and informed me that someone named sharon is looking for me. sharon who? then i realized i spoke to her on friday itself. then making plans for the rest of the day. adrian and ivan planned to cut their hair at hq studio @ kl plaza. on the way, gotten a quick bite from mcdees drive thru. got there with them around 3ish and waited for almost 40 mins before their turn to cut hair. so anyways, i walked around kl plaza, checking out fos and watched some shaolin acrobatic performances at the ground level. went up, still not done and i end up reading countless magazine while waiting for them. after they finito with the hair cut, we decided to go to low yatt to see the buzz of window vista.. but left early as we bored walking around low yatt.

after dropping ivan off, went to pick up glenn from kelana jaya to go to taman mayang for dinner. adrian got prior appointment after dinner and i decided to join ivan and the gang to alexis to see cheryl hayes. after dinner, adrian dropped me off at ivan's house and lepaking at ivan's house til 10 ish before jas came to pick us up. reached alexis and full house and we got shitty table at the corner near the entrance of the mall and the sound from speaker killing me. only managed listen to one set of cheryl hayes then jas was savoring for mcdees. so, left alexis and heading to mcdee (my second one today) at centre point. had a bite and chit chat and left around 130 am. had to stay put at ivan's house as i left my house key at adrian's car. was watching telly and after a while the telly watching me. adrian came pick me up around 330 am. thanks ivan cos allowed me to crash for a while before heading home.

sun - slept at 645 am on sunday morning. woke up at noon and getting ready to go for a brunch. after brunch went to one utama to watch movie (read alone). decided to watch iberia from babel as i need to watch movie that is not main stream. walk in to the cinema and found that am all alone, but not for a while. couple and another 4 persons walked in and so that make 7 of us in the whole cinema. for the next 120 mins, the whole movie is about dance/musical. pretty impressive visual and routine (most of it flamenco) accompanied by live acoustic/piano musician. half way through the movie, the couple walked out. :P pretty interesting movie.

then went pasar malam to get dinner and at home watching anugerah bintang popular 2006 berita harian. entertaining kak engku and kak ogy, keep it up!

last year, i wrote about shayna zaid and soon this malaysian lass who based in new york will be making a big wave in south east asia with release of her first album in asia in march 2007. under her arm, she had released an album title 'beyond borders' in the states and received a good response. with gigs in established club around new york, this lass will set a benchmark in local music industry. her song, 'sweet while it lasted' is a big winner in xfresh fm chart for 2 weeks and going strong. to get to know her and listen to her, click here.


it's all about jennifer hudson. from red carpets to awards to news to oscar and now again she in the limelight with one of her song leaked on the net and another featured in radio show. her yet to be title album to be release later this year and jennifer is in the midst of finalizing the recording itself. listen to it here.

the good people in entertainment industry recently aired a special footage of britney spears rehearsing dance routines with her dancers in studio. it was reported that this rehearsal meant for a surprise grammy's performance on February 11th. but some fans reported denied this as britney has not gotten her 'ideal' body shape to perform. what we all can do is just wait and see on the grammy's night. hopefully she would not experience wardrobe malfunctions.
