managed to catch mamma mia! on big screen over the weekend. not going to mention about what is all about, because you all have read about it unless you are from planet zartok, please click here.

anyhow, the movie is one of the MUST watch on my list for this year and boy, how disappointed i am with the movie. it could do better than what they are produce (c'mon mr & mrs hanks - you can do better i bet). however, kudos to ABBA for the fun and lovable music, so thank you for the music, the song i am singing (literally lip sync throughout the whole movie).

other note, casting wise.
meryl streep - a big star but it was a stiff performance doll, chop, chop, next!
pierce brosnan - if you have played bond, doesn't mean you have persona. still stiff with bad singing.
colin firth - i think he will be a good to play lead role instead of the above, but then again.. anyways, lovable character colin, very spontaneous.
stellan skarsgard - not much comments on his character except the tattoo looks cool on his butt cheeks.
amanda seyfried - a right casting (finally).
julie walters - god, i feel tired watching her jumping and boogeying and still she has the energy. where did she got it?
christine baranski - right casting to play her character. love her segment in 'does your mother know?' - girl, you rawk!

and last but not least, the hottie..
dominic cooper - hot! hot! hot! and being trained in musical, boy sure he can sing. next we see him in 'the duchess' along side with ralph fiennes and kiera knightley. *drool*

his rendition of 'lay all your love on me' is soo hot! definitely highlight of the movie for me beside meryl streep 'the winner takes it all'

i was going through some 'junks' that i kept inside my old shoes box. all of sudden 'zejive' was in my mind.

the story of zejive was wiped out from my previous blog. to KISS, he is someone that i have fallen for a very long time. then he left to US to become a lab rat and he decided to not contact each other because it ain't work out for long distance. it was hard hit on me, however, i am moving on. and it was best forgotten... until a couple of hours ago! as for now, the only thing i can connect to him is his friend by the screen name 'glamdragon'.

after touch blues, jazz, soul and funk in 'Back to Basics', she went into pop art era, with new sound of synth, heavy bass and acid rock (think goldfrapp's supernature sound). very eclectic indeed.

google finally release their very own browser. name 'chrome' it has a feature like firefox, opera, internet explorer etc. however, it claimed that you can surf the web faster than the rest of the browser and oh, it safe too. with instant bookmarking, minimal sophisticated design - make the 'chrome' become the next big thing in browser.

i've tested the browser and liking the interface, the loading time and as well the features. it came second to my must have browser list after firefox (am so comfortable with firefox) followed by safari.

however, i was lost when i want to customize the browser. the option button is hidden somewhere on the top right corner of the browser (if u familiar with IE 7 or higher, you know where to find it)

book yakking: the competitive power of constant creativity

last week was the last week of the month. as usual we have our k-sharing. k-sharing is knowledge sharing where each individual at work shared about a point in a book that can contribute to organization and personal development.

usually, i'll posted my rant about the book that i am reading. anyhow, last month am reading the competitive power of constant creativity by clay carr. a book that resemblance of what organization i am working now. written in early 90s, the book discuss how organization to work with technology, human capital, leadership and at the same time not sacrificing efficiency of an organization. also it does touch on the what are core qualities of creativity organization and how you can beat the super competitive market with constant creativity.

overall, a good book as a reference if you are looking into how to get the organization out of red ocean by innovating, creating and solving the problems before it get too deep.

the office was very quiet today, however, it was a hectic day too for me. a lot of things to attend to and a lot of things to settle.

with all that. i feel happy today and i don't know why. something make me smile, something make me laugh, something make me giggle and something make me laugh again. perhaps brand new week, new months and new day!

past days, i have less sleep and to be exact 48 hrs (if i am not lost count). Team and myself is rushing for 'something' that is going to be launch this coming friday.

i have been doozing off a while from time to time at my workstation (during non working hours la). pretty crazy feeling but seen the work that we all have done, it is worth it.

anyhow, past days also, i have been listening to Ken Hirai's album and how much i still like his music altho it has been years. his voice and his urban pop/hip pop tempo does me good all the time.

the pain that was...

last night, i was happily eating nasi goreng tom yam at one of my fav store across of my office. it was such a nice dinner 'pekena' with 'tea-o-ais'. then, once am heading home couple of hours later, i am feeling drowsy and have the urge to throw up. not pleasant feeling.

i woke up at 4 am to go to toilet to vomit and since then, it was regular trip until 7 am. i was tired and drowsy. i called in half day to rest and i was in and out from the toilet non stop out from 'front' and 'back'. it was painful.

by noon, the pain and urge of throw up has gone, but fever kick in. i told myself, i don't care, i'll need to go back to the office. i popped panadol actifast and while working in the aircond studios, i was sweating like hell.

but right now, am ok (i guess). i wan to zzzz...

june just came back from the vet this afternoon after spending a night at the clinic. adrian and myself sent june to the vet to 'close shop'. we do this for the sake of her own good in the long run.

it is devastating to see her look very depressing today. i think she is still traumatize from the surgery. she has to wear the collar for a week to prevent her from licking the wound and we need to clean the wound once a day for a week.

came across this movie in my download list. nothing fancy about the movie. however, it has a stellar performance that beyond expectations. i was thought that this some rip-off gay flick but it turn out to be more mature. the movie that am talking about is Shelter. probably so far the best gay flick i've seen this year. presented by here! Films and written/directed by jonah markowitz starred Trevor Wright, Brad Rowe and Tina Holmes.

Synopsis

Forced to give up his dreams of art school in order to take care of his family, Zach (Trevor Wright) has become accustomed to a life where he neglects his own needs in favor of taking care of his older sister, Jeanne (Tina Holmes) and his nephew, Cody.

When his best friend’s older brother, Shaun (Brad Rowe), returns home to cure a case of writer’s block, Shaun and Zach develop a friendship that develops into a true, intimate relationship. i found that i could relate a lot of my own life into the movie itself. what i've been through, what i've face etc. i got an emotional attachment to the movie. the beauty of the movie does not lies on the hottest guy on screen but the story itself. zach has to choose whether to stand up for himself, take a chance or get stuck at where he is now. he felt so heavy burden for the choice that he made and that he put others first before himself. i do feel him throughout the movie, the pain, confusion and the hardest things to do coming out to everyone. amazing performance by trevor wright. watch this movie for other 'intense' scene!

the music selections for this movie plays a major role. majority of the songs sung by Shane Mack, an upcoming country/folk artist. he has a voice like james blunt but more refine (i think). if you like james blunt you might want to check this guy out here.

It has been a weeks since we 'really' talk. dinner was a silent one, car ride was a silent one. iFeel - Reflection

it felt wrong if i ever speak my mind and yet my gut said this is the right thing. i slowly took myself out of the circle that bind me. it felt wrong and detachment. i sat there staring at the window, looking outside. daydreaming? not at all. reflecting what i have become and what i will become.

reflecting is not enough and nothing is never enough or good enough. procrastinating and indecisive often clouding my thought. bad judgment holding me back all the time. i learned from it but have i ever learned enough that i won't repeat the same mistake again? let go, just let go! easy to say than done.

it kills me inside sometimes and it make me frustrated. why is this happening? what cause this to happen? no one to blame but myself. forgiveness is easy to get, but losing trust from someone is something that you will never forget for the rest of your life.

how to gain the trust? how to mend broken relationship? time for another reflection to find an answer!

what was i thinking?

my team perform a musical drama about a month ago for talent's night 2008 and our group grab the overall title. it took us a few days of preps before the big day. it is simple and easy understood by everybody.

i played juliet character. a happy go lucky, flirty, unglam and most of all love sampat for her life. it took a twist when juliet's father did not accept sampat.

this is first time i am so comfortable to play this kind of character. it was fun to do and i am looking forward to other things.. hehehe

my sister's house in pd (belong to the company that my bro in law work with)

i spent my weekend in port dickson now days as my sister and her family already relocating there. my mom is with them until this saturday before flying off back to bintulu.

nice weather in pd

last weekend was no extraordinary weekend. the weather is nice to sleep and everyone woke up late. we decided to head off to giant hypermarket in senawang, about 40 mins or so drive from my sister's house to buy groceries.

we entered the hypermarket and saw a pool of people crowding one corner. i have a peek and saw a banner.. 'Family Fish Spa'. the set up.. a pool with water and i saw people sitting on the side of it with their legs inside the pool. then i saw a fish swimming from one feet to other and understand that this is 'Fish Spa'. i was 'shocked' and 'curious'. i head on to the counter and asked, RM12 for 20 mins and RM16 for 30 mins.. hmmm! Kenko Spa charge RM38 for 30 mins!!
