oh my, i had the longest weekend ever! last tuesday and wednesday was a public holidays and i took leave on thursday and friday as i needed to running some chores.
on sat, i went back to office to attend first aid training conducting by a colleague of mine. it is a good session as we were taught how to react or giving first aid in the situation that needed before the paramedics arrive. we learned step by step a proper CPR procedure.
ivan came to see my studio and went beserk over the fact that my apartment is so comfy. i decided to go to the curve to check out pants that suitable for shirt that i have for the wedding on sunday night. yes, i have to attend wedding on sunday and trying to find something according to theme of the wedding is nuts, nuts and nuts. however, i found the most comfortable and nice linen long pants from 'passages' metrojaya. kaching RM89.90 with free alteration.
while we are waiting for the pants to get altered, we walk around hsl and check out stuff they have. ivan was eyeing on mp3 player and decided to check out iPod. after contradicting here and there, he finally decided to get 30GB black iPod. it was an instant-i-will-not-regret moment. he totally satisfied with it.
heading home and its time to get ready to go to groom's house for family and close friend's dinner reception. fyi, the groom is my colleague. anyway, the reason i was there also cos i was one of the videographer for the wedding event and also yours truly appointed to be 'heng tai' for the sunday reception. had dinner and chit chat and leave at abt 11ish and meeting up ivan, linda, linda's bf and adrian at dharoos for drinking drinking session.
early sunday morning, i woke up and getting ready for the big day. packed sony videocamera, tripod and get myself ready. it was pouring earlier on, and still drizzling when i left the house. make my way with the other 2 'heng tai' to cheras. since we are still early, we stop by for a breakfast. once we got there, almost everyone was there. we were told earlier on that we will be given pink tie (i was so delighted when i heard about the news). i make a different statement. i wore a white tee with black pants and put up the bright pink tie... look weird however, it was bold and daring move. i have a reason why am doing it (pssstt, i do not own any white shirt as to me white shirt will definitely turn yellow after sometimes). we made our way to taman desa to pick up the bride. to be honest, this is my first ever chinese wedding. it was fun to see how the 'chee mui' of the bride 'play' with the groom before he could reach to the bride. after all done and tea ceremony and picture taking session, the newly wed couple made their way to the temple. then head back home. simple tea ceremony was done for the groom side.
for the night event, arrive at the noble banquet early. do my part and get ready for the night. it was good with everyone eat, drink and merry merry. yum seng all the way. the highlights of the night would be, the newly wed couple who beaming whole night, entertaining their guest. am happy that everything run smoothly although some hicups here and there (sorry, am an event producer so i tend to look at things from the production side) but its all ok. leave at about 11 pm with tiring arms (recording video) and feet (standing).
i will post more pictures soon, but mean time you can have a peek below on some picture that i took..
