the queen of disco returned to stage late last year to fulfilled the wish of her fans to see her again live on stage. although going through tough time battling with breast cancer, this petite lady never give up on her career and especially on her fan. now, with full gear, she most likely to release her new album end of the year due to her tight schedule on concert and resting between before returning to studio for recording.
to not disappoint her fans, recently kylie preview her upcoming (rumored) new single during sydney 'showgirl' tour and the hq of the songs leaked on the net. this song recorded live because it is included in the just released showgirl - homecoming live audio cd. i bet the studio version will sound better so as the music arrangement.
the title of the song is white diamond and co-written and produced by scissors sisters. i begin to like the songs. it is a fresh sound from kylie.

the new year's celebration trilogy: the eve of eve, the new year's eve and the fog
me + jeremy + ivan @ velvet underground
30th dec 2006 (saturday) - the eve of eve
it was rather a busy day for me today. woke up at almost noon and adrian suggested the night before that we are going to eat pork noodle @ brickfields if he decided not visiting his 'church'. well, apparently, holidays mood get into everyone mood and he decided to skipped 'church'. so we went to pork noodles followed by his hair cut @ kl plaza. right after, he accompanied to buy thumb drive at low yat plaza. gotten a pendrive nano 1G! this is one of the thing that in my wish list for 2006 christmas although i did not gotten the 2G one. in the evening, adrian and i accompany ivan to pick up jeremy from klia lcct. on the way back to kl, we were discussing where to eat and we end up at dharoos, our favorite hang out place. had dinner and the girls came by. in a blink of an eye, they decided to go to zouk, tonight! arrived at zouk quite late and everyone in velvet underground. i stood in front of the bouncer and he gave me the 'wtf' look. he explained to me that velvet underground has a dress code. as am wearing round collar tee, he can denied my entry but he mentioned to me that he is in holidays mood and he let me passed by this one time only. so i make my way into the club. not as crowded as i thought but the music was awesome. right after, we decided to check out 'loft' and found no one is there. so, basically we have the whole club to ourselves and dj blink spin the song for us.. awesome! then we start cam-whoring session.

what a night! we snap and pose and snap and pose and oh yeah, we all did the 'krumping' session including the most innocent jeremy did that! we end up at wong ah wah for very early breakfast!
31st dec 2006 - the new year's eve
woke up late in the morning. adrian and i went for a brunch at dim sum kitchen @ damansara utama. it was nice! we had porridge, low mai kai, siew mai, yee mai, char siew chee cheong fun and etc. it was very filling. had a nap in the noon and later in the evening we decided to have dinner at american chilli's @ bsc. we ordered triple play as a entree and then i ordered monterey chicken and adrian ordered mushroom-swiss burger for main course. it was fantastically filling food though. sat at the restaurant til 10 pm and we decided to drive out around town. after drove a while, he suggested that we go to kuala selangor. so we did and we end up count down in the car on the way back to kl. as both of us too tired, we went home straight and got stuck at one utama's entrance as everyone's leaving after the count down party.
but too bad we did not take any picture at kuala selangor as it was practically empty when we got there. the town dead and it was like scary!
1st jan 2007 - the fog
rise and shine on new year's day! having brunch at ss2 kopitiam then we heading to ikea to check out some items for our new studio apartment. had some disagreement on some items but we keep everything in options until we completely move in to new lair, then we decided what to buy. went to watch a movie 'night at the museum' after ikea's outing. we have planned the night before that we are going to genting later in the evening. so we did. on the way to genting, we passed by a few road accidents. reached there around 8 pm. i was surprised to see that genting was little quiet than usual. when we got there, the temp was around 18 degrees as and the weather is drizzling. 40 mins later, the whole entire hotel genting was surround by fog. at first we were sitting at the patio @ starbucks then it get very chilly, so we moved inside the cafe. brought some magazine and also my books. having a quiet night like this is what adrian and i do sometimes. just us with magazine and latte! went back around 11 pm and got home almost midnight.

i meant to blog about this way way before new year hits the bug. but unfortunately due to slow internet connections, i decided to blog about this when the line are more stable and faster than slower average.
